Apparently they originally pressed SACDs, but now the DSD is used to master the CD. So shame on Amazon for listing as an actual SACD, but it is a quality CD set. Reading the inner info, the recordings were "restored" and "remastered" using DSD formatting to bring out the best of the original recordings. However, the CDs sound fantastic still and have the volume and dynamics of a SACD, or at least close.

But the quality can still be heard on this version. I am torn here because the description said this was a hybrid SACD. However when it came it was marked DSD remastered.

I purchased the album to replace my original 1978 purchase which was or is well used and sounded like it needed to be retired. I finally decided to keep the CD set since was great to listen to but will be much more wary to buy any other claimed SACD without having pictures showing the true SACD icon on the case or discs.

LP arrived on time with a small crease on one corner otherwise acceptable shape. Sound is very typical 60-70’s style recording.

The discs themselves have both DSD and compact disc icons on it but not the SACD icon, so definitely a cd, which was confirmed by my player as such. So it's like a superior CD, but not a SACD. And it turned out to be a standard CD set, not a SACD at all.
