I can only attribute this to the quality of this saw because I've never achieved this before. When I built the box to hide the cistern, I also used this to cut the panels. The top of the frame had to sit inside a recess on the bottom of the water feature and it does that perfectly. Luckily they were 60cm wide so I used the slide to cut half way through, turned the panel round and did the same in the other direction so I was cutting from the middle to the edge.

Now they say a bad workman blames his tools but I'd argue then when you have decent tools it makes it much, much easier for a bad workman (like me) to do a decent job. And this is a blade that came with the saw with big old teeth on.
I took it very slowly, used electrical tape where I was cutting and there is almost no sign of any chips to the covering. I've done things like this before and always ended up with something a bit 'rustic'. The result is millimetre perfect.
