The characters and plot are strong and well developed with special attention paid to the issues and trauma of child abuse. Compromising is sometimes hard for both of them to relent and give.
She and Gideon are physically close (that's putting it mildly). trying to learn to trust and believe in Gideons' faithfulness (much like in book #1 Bared to You: A Crossfire Novel . I LOVE Gideons' damaged soul.
but always emotionally distant. (but that's just me)Gideon and Eva's lives are fraught with drama. doesn't make sense, but that's the way she is.
Eva is still having trust issues. He has to be in total control. It's crazy.
I loved this second installment of the Crossfire Trilogy. It's exhausting. LOVE IT!
