The real OCG infiltrator! If you are going to buy a book about undercover policing and want to know what the world is like then I encourage you to buy this book now. An insight into the levels of lawful audaciousness, finely honed skills & let’s face it - absolute front & bottle needed to take so called ‘gangsters’ off the streets. I’m not much of a big reader, but I can honestly say I enjoyed every page of this book, it’s so gripping you just want to keep on reading. A gritty insight into the OCG and criminal underworld. But I wanted to try to make it last as long as I could.

He was a lion led by donkeys, evidence you dont need a degree to do policing especially this type of policing, for me onwards and upwards for Shay he’s well out of it a massive loss to GMP but most of all a loss to the communities he protected. From start to finish this book takes you on a journey not just of one man’s career, but through every step and breath Shay took on a journey that won’t ever be repeated. The book, and Shay, very much reminded me of Tom Marcus (Soldier Spy). In fact if you are going to buy any book I would put this book to the top of the list.
