This book has been perfect as it shows that lots of children get worries and that the worries are not real or at least not as bad as they seem. It considers how children over think about who they are able to talk to; parents - who are busy, won't understand or have their own struggles. It allowed me to have that conversation with my son and he could see that talking about it was helping him as it did the girl in this book.

Not imposed worries by the author. I would highly recommend this to anyone with anxious children and I think the best age group it would work for would be 6 to 8 year olds. One of my daughters has terminal cancer and we all have a giant bag of worries. I dont want my grandchildren to even think about their weight and i was concerned these couple of pages might start new worries.

I found the second and third page too targeted on particular worries. I can't wait to use this with my 8 yr old. This book speaks about how that is bad and doesn't deal with your worries.

He asked lots of questions and he related to the little girl in the book. An educational psychologist recommended it for my son who has anxiety. My son keeps all his emotions inside which kills him.
It uses a 'bag' which gets bigger with each worry being added to finally the bag being thrown away once the worries are dealt with. I love this book.
. So. I bought this book for my 6 grandchildren. Beautifully illustrated, the story is about a bag of worries that follows the child everywhere and nothing seems to get rid of this bag which is getting bigger until she opens up and talks about her worries.
