This is a fairly basic model from the range, but to be fair does everything you really need, simply and easily, without fuss or the complication of knowing which attachment you need to put on. Great battery life too. The blade cover slotted into place very easily and cut the hair very effectively. Beard comb seems a bit unnecessary, but I’m not really in a position to say that as I don’t have a beard LOL.

It isn’t so suitable for big or medium sized beards. I also love the fact that it gives a sharp cut to my stubble and not to mention that its lightweight and cordless. It’s good but I would say better for a short beard and for a quick shave.

Two-Pin Round plug only - requires an adapter for UK use. Trim length controlled with setting positive click knob. The range of lenghts it can do was perfect for me as I have a short beard. It was excellent.

Easy cut through long or thick hair without pulling and tugging. ) It works perfectly well, and with lifetime sharp blades means this is an ideal trimmer for someone that doesn’t want or need fancy bells and whistles, just a product that does what you want it to do. As noted, it’s a fairly basic bit of kit, so just comes with the trimmer, charger, cleaning brush, and beard comb.

One thing to note, and is very important for those that tend not to look closely at instructions, something we can all be guilty of, this IS NOT a wet and dry trimmer. It’s easy and comfortable to use, trims properly and efficiently without any pulling, which is very important.

On my old trimmer I have to keep on replacing the combs but with BT3221 I just need to adjust the precision wheel. Of course, this isn’t solely for beards (I don’t have a beard), but for hair / sideburn / eyebrow trimming etc, which is what I use it for.
