I’ve built many things in my time but my lord these instructions were awful. Took my son a couple of hours to assemble it but looks great and lots of storage. After a couple of messages, I finally received the correct instructions (side lift) and the bed has been built without much issue although, as others have suggested, I would recommend searching for the Aspire Beds YouTube channel and watch the "how to build" video as the instructions are very basic and pretty rubbish to be honest, so the video instruction does help.

Looks lovely and plenty of room underneath Outer legs cheap looking but heyho. .

We had to place a cloth on both wooden sides where the bed frame meets the sides as this was making a noise everytime someone moved on the bed. Time will tell I guess on if was worth the money, after all it needs to last. It's storage is very good and spacious. Yes the base is Velcro attached but it’s very functional and has a good amount of storage.

Fabric is lovely and it's great value for money. The grey is nice and lift works fine. I suppose my last point would be that Aspire Beds promote "Quality UK made Beds, Headboards & Mattresses" but the 3 boxes that were delivered stated "made in China" but I suppose a low cost supply chain is a necessity to keep prices low. My only gripe would be that the frame does have some sharp edges and did catch / mark the headboard when raising / lowering it before I worked out how to adjust it.

! As a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" my expectations were not too high and so this is definitely one gamble that appears to have paid off as for the price paid, the quality is absolutely fine when compared to the Ottomans viewed in various bed shops (at much higher prices), so fingers crossed there are no issues going forward.

Note the headboards in the photos were cut down and re-upholstered by myself to fit the room dimensions, and come rectangular as standard. Excellent value for money, superior to more expensive versions, and relatively simple to assemble ( watch the videos )Super fast delivery 2 days ahead of expected as well.
