I'd like to have the willpower to savour one poem one day at a time and make this last me all 366 days (yes, it covers 29th February! As one would expect, it features one poem for every day of the year; this much I'd expected, but when the book arrived I was delighted to find that each date features a short paragraph either about the poem or about any special occasions or events that can be marked on that day. Thank you Macmillan for creating such a gorgeous publication!

I love the concept of poetry every day. (This mini-review may appear elsewhere under the name "Amy McLean" or "Amy McLean - Super Ink Arts")Allie Esiri's A Poem for Every Day of the Year is one of the most splendid books I've ever held. There's a great range of poets and poems inside, some very famous poems and artists, some lesser-known poems of famous writers, and some works I'd never heard of.

The book is very nice, I only have 3 poems because I go with the day, but because of the titles of some I saw that they come from very varied topics, I recommend it! being given today so sad!
