Wonderful story touching important subject- like protecting our environment. Would recommend for any children that are new to the story or for whom it is an old favourite! Love all the Julie Donaldson books. Love the final moral.

This is a great book, it arrived for my son just before nap time so we read it and he loves it. But the paintings are colorful and vivid. It is his favourite Julia Donaldson book and mine too.

Ordered a board book, good quality , colorful and vivid paintings. I have read this to him since he was one. The book uses some big words which a 6yr old cant read by herself/himself. And actually encouraged the 6 year old to read independently.
